Mimmo has the best pizza you can find in Munich. Maybe it's because of the authentic and lovable pizza maker, Mimmo, and maybe also because of the high-quality and carefully selected ingredients. Maybe both. You can tell: this is a fan speaking. :) The pizza is delicious, affordable, extra requests are allowed and pizza to go is also possible.

Food is good, but service is very slow. You wait 1 hour for the pizza in a half-empty restaurant while around 50 pizzas in cardboard boxes are delivered.

So the place itself is okay, it's tidy and comfortable. Food on the other hand, is not so good but also okay. Problem is that staff speaks not so good German, so it's a little bit hard to understand and communicate. Meal preparation time is a little bit long unfortunately. Staff needs to learn a little bit more about the job they do.

Amazing Pizza! Passaparola and Mimmo are clearly the best Pizza places in Munich. Update 2020: they changed their Pizzaiolo or so it seems ... the Pizza tastes very mediocre now and the service is abysmal.

Pizza tasted good, but a bit small and definitely not worth the wait. We waited a good hour for the food, our empty glasses were not picked up, Hugo only tasted like syrup. All in all, not a good experience.

Good pizza, that's about it ... worst service ever! Service unfriendly and totally inexperienced. Waited over an hour for the pizza. Mega disappointed, never again!

My favorite pizza in Munich

Mimmo simply makes the best pizza! And the fact that so many regular Italian guests stop there speaks for itself. We are always happy to come back!

Pizza was fine. Service was absolutely terrible. We waited 50 minutes for two pizzas. Finally they came and gave them to another table, who didn’t order those same pizzas, so they gave one table one pizza and our table one pizza. No cutlery. Then our other pizza came about ten minutes later. Very disorganized - they don’t seem to know what table numbers are or who ordered first. Legitimately one of the most irritating dinner experiences I’ve had in years.

In my opinion this is the best Italian restaurant in Munich. I've been here often and with different people and we tried lots if different stuff on the menu and not once did we leave disappointed. Definitely worth a visit when you find yourself craving some delicious Italian food

We waited almost 1.30am for our meal and the pizza was black on the outside, unfortunately not recommended. The service was completely overwhelmed. The rest of my pizza was folded and wrapped in aluminum foil, even though there were obviously many pizza boxes left. All the fat ran out and the pizza was very difficult to transport.

Been there Sunday evening. Unfortunately, a completely overwhelmed waitress found, since some tables were occupied inside and outside. The takeaway orders then overwhelmed the wait staff, because they also had to make calls and cash in. Overall, the starter plate was ok but not a recommendation, and I had to get bread myself because the waitress had to do something else again. Pizza is good. No more no less. I think one or two employees would have done well because the food tastes only half as good if you are surrounded by chaos and look at discontented, hungry waiting faces.

We were there for 45 minutes and couldn't even order drinks. Really sad .. we went. Simply too little staff!

Reserved table at 7pm. We waited until 7:45 p.m. and were not even allowed to order drinks at all. If a restaurant is unable to serve the customers you let in the store, that's a very sad judgment. Perhaps it would make sense to respect customers' time more in the future.

3 pizzas ordered to be picked up. 20 min we were told the pizza is ready. When we wanted to pick up the pizza, there were already 5 people waiting and complaining. After a waiting time of 30 minutes on site (55 minutes in total!) We finally received our pizza to find out that the work was quick and dirty. Little topping irregularly distributed and taste was not outstanding either. Disaster. Not recommended!

Ottimo cibo, locale pulito e accogliente, personal simpatico e cordiale. Mangiare bene fa bene ... ma vuoi mettere quando mangi con il sorriso stampato in faccia? ... Excellent food, clean and welcoming hotel, nice and friendly staff. Eating well is good ... but do you want to wear if you eat with a smile on your face?

Good pizza - recommended

We ate here for the first time yesterday. Unfortunately, you have to expect long waiting times until the pizzas are on the table. In our case, it took about 45 minutes. However, they were pretty tasty. The wine that the waiter recommended was also good. We will definitely come back.

Simply delicious again and again! Top quality throughout. Traditional dishes. You have to try the stone oven pizza. A dream. Of course there is everything to take away.

Best pizza in town. Try Emiliana with spinach and Gorgonzola cheese. Ambiance ok but i prefer take-away.

One of the best Pizza places in Munich.

We were there about 2 months ago on a cold evening, the Apulian waitress welcomed us with her sympathy and kindness. The really good pizza, the excellent beer, the fast service and the bill convinced us that in the next trip to Munich, another visit will be a must. Bravi

I had one time pizza and it was ok (for sure not the best in Munich) but the pasta I didn´t like at all.

We had Pizza, which was perhaps one the best outside of Italy.

Great pizza and pasta the best in Munich

According to their menu, voted 2nd best pizza in Germany some year. That doesn't matter though, as the place is pretty much as close to authentic Italian pizza as you can get outside of Italy. The crust is thin and tasty, the menu items are not outrageous combinations, with the weirdest thing I found being spicy salami, anchovies, and pepperoni on the same pizza, though even that was excellent. The service is friendly and cheerful. Definitely going back here.

Probably the best pizza in town.

Fantastic pizze. Thin and consistent crusts and quality ingredients. One of the few places in Munich with pizze bianche. Always reserve a table as it often is full. Reservations may be placed by email.
